Keeping drugs and alcohol out of schools is a big task. The majority of the public perceives that Lloydminster schools are not drug free (IPSOS poll).
Changing that perception and creating a reality where drugs and alcohol are not condoned in school is important in reducing the harm from substance abuse.
Both Lloydminster High schools have extra curricular clubs that promote positive choices and a High School culture free from drug and alcohol use.

Presentations from speakers and organizing in school events are great ways to spread the word that drugs and alcohol don't belong in schools.
If you know someone that is dealing in your school... talk to a councilor or the principal right away. If you feel afraid to speak up, you could do it anonymously. Just let someone know who the dealer is. Drug crime is no joke and it jeopardizes your and your friends safety.
